Markets · Alberta, Canada
Alberta is becoming one of North America's data center build regions. The people who will deliver it are already working on the province's industrial projects. We are mapping them now, and the first crew nights are being planned.

Why Alberta, why now
Large data center campuses are planned around both Edmonton and Calgary. Each will need a delivery team underneath its leadership: coordinators, controls, procurement and commissioning people who can grow with the program.
The province has restricted new grid connections for data centers and directed developers to arrange their own power. That makes on-site power and commissioning skills central to every build.
Dow's Path2Zero expansion near Edmonton expects 7,000 to 8,000 workers at peak construction, with startup in 2029 and 2030. Data center developers hire from the same junior project pool.
Alberta's energy and industrial sector has trained a generation of project people on large programs. Most have never been asked to move into data centers.

The Alberta map
For each profile in each city we report the addressable, qualified and reachable pool, with the date and method behind every count. The first Edmonton and Calgary counts are being produced now.

Where the pool sits
The map starts from the organisations where juniors get real exposure to large projects. Edmonton seats are mostly site based, so Edmonton is mapped and warmed first.

Owner's-side project controls and procurement on multi-billion dollar programs.
Power, interconnection and commissioning experience that transfers directly.
Early-career engineers with a designation in progress and site exposure.
Alberta founding places are limited. Founding members get the Alberta map, warmed campaigns in Edmonton and Calgary, a host seat at the first crew nights, and first introductions to members who opt in.
